SIGNED

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

This policy explains how the SIGNED: Survive the Music Business game for iPhone and iPad ("SIGNED") handles information. SIGNED is made by Hard Hustla Muzik LLC, P.O. Box 337, Jeffersonville, IN 47130 ("we", "us"). This policy covers only the SIGNED app. The Hustla Arcade website is covered by its own policy at hustlaarcade.com/privacy.

SIGNED is also made for Android devices, through Google Play, and this policy covers that version too. On Android, Google Play handles payments instead of Apple, and instead of Apple's tracking prompt there is a "Personalized ads" switch in SIGNED's Settings, which is off unless you turn it on. Section 16 explains everything that is different on Android. Where it differs from Sections 1 to 15, Section 16 applies to the Android version.

1. The short version

  • SIGNED has no accounts and no sign-in. It never asks for your real name, phone number or age. We only get your email address if you choose to contact us for support.
  • Your career save and your settings stay on your device. We never receive them.
  • SIGNED has optional video ads. An ad plays only when you tap "Watch a clip" in the Shop, and each clip you finish earns you 15 diamonds, up to 3 a day. Google provides the ads, and its ad software collects information such as your IP address, device identifiers and how you interact with ads (Section 4).
  • SIGNED doesn't track you unless you allow it. Apple's tracking prompt asks you first, and you can change your answer at any time in your iPhone's settings. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form also asks you before any ads load, and you can change that choice with "Privacy options" in SIGNED's Settings (Section 5).
  • Apart from the purchase and clip statistics from RevenueCat (Sections 3 and 4) and Google's ad measurement (Section 4), there are no analytics tools.
  • Apple handles all payments. A service called RevenueCat keeps track of purchases for each copy of the app using a random ID, not your name, email or Apple Account.
  • We don't sell your information to data brokers or to anyone else for money. If you allow tracking, Google's use of information from SIGNED for personalized ads may count as "sharing" or a "sale" under some U.S. state laws. Section 13 explains how to opt out.

2. Information that stays on your device

  • Your career save. This includes your stage name, the names you give your projects and your label, your avatar, your genre, your in-game money, fans, stats and items, your Signed Pro dates, and a random career number. It is kept in the app's storage on your device so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Your sound and music settings.

This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. That means we can't see it, and we can't recover it if it is deleted. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, the backup may include it. Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy.

3. Purchases and Signed Pro

Apple processes every payment in SIGNED, including diamond packs and Signed Pro. We never see your card, your billing address or your Apple Account details.

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to check that purchases are genuine, unlock what you bought, restore purchases, keep your Signed Pro status up to date, and run the Manage Signed Pro screen. The app contacts RevenueCat when it opens or comes back on screen, and when you view Signed Pro, buy something or restore purchases. RevenueCat then receives:

  • A random ID that the app creates. It is not your name, email or Apple Account.
  • Your App Store purchase records for SIGNED: which products you bought, the prices, the purchase, renewal and expiry dates, the transaction IDs, your App Store country, and whether it was a test purchase.
  • When you first downloaded SIGNED and which version, from Apple's download record. This is sent when you buy something or restore purchases.
  • Basic technical details: your device model, iOS version, app version and language settings, plus an ID that Apple gives app makers for your device (Apple calls it the "identifier for vendor"). This is not the advertising identifier.
  • Your iPhone's tracking-permission status for SIGNED, which shows whether you allowed tracking (Section 5). RevenueCat does not receive the advertising identifier.
  • When you first and last opened SIGNED.
  • Your IP address, which is part of any internet request. RevenueCat says it uses the IP address only to work out your country and does not keep it.
  • When the Signed Pro offer screen is shown, and what you tap on it.
  • Your answers, if you use the Manage Signed Pro screen and answer its optional questions (for example, why you want to cancel or ask for a refund).

If the Manage Signed Pro screen offers Contact support and you use it, your own email app opens a message to us that already includes your RevenueCat ID, app version, device model, iOS version and App Store country. If you send it, we receive your email address, your message and those details. If a support form appears inside the app instead, what you type there, including your email address, goes through RevenueCat to us, together with technical details we choose in RevenueCat's settings, which can include your IP address.

We use this information only to deliver and restore your purchases, keep your Signed Pro status correct, answer support messages, help with cancellations and refund requests, catch fake or invalid purchases, and see overall sales and how the Signed Pro offer is doing. We do not use it for advertising, and unless you contact us, we do not try to find out who you are.

4. Optional ads for diamonds

SIGNED has optional video ads, called clips. In the Shop, you can tap "Watch a clip" to watch one. When you finish it, you get 15 diamonds. You can do this up to 3 times a day. A clip plays only when you tap "Watch a clip". SIGNED has no banner ads and no ads that appear on their own.

The clips come from Google, through its AdMob service. SIGNED includes Google's ad software (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). It can contact Google when SIGNED opens and while it is open, for example to get a clip ready, even if you never watch one. Google says its ad software may collect:

  • Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your device's general location.
  • Device identifiers, such as the advertising identifier or other identifiers that work only within one app or one app maker. On iPhone, these can include the identifier for vendor, an ID that Google's ad software keeps for SIGNED and, only if you allow tracking (Section 5), the advertising identifier (IDFA).
  • Advertising data, such as the ads you have seen.
  • How you interact with SIGNED and with ads, such as app launches, taps and video views.
  • Crash logs, and performance data such as launch time, hangs and energy use.

Google uses this information to show clips, measure how ads perform, prevent fraud and abuse, improve its services and, if you allow it, personalize ads. Google explains how it uses information from apps that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We don't give Google your career save, your stage name or your purchase records. When you finish a clip, Google's ad software tells SIGNED that you earned the reward, so the game can add your diamonds.

SIGNED also tells RevenueCat, under the app's random ID, when a clip loads or fails to load, when it is shown and when you tap it. RevenueCat receives the type of ad, which of our ad units it came from, the ad network, a random ID for that showing and, when Google reports it, how much the ad earned. We use this to see how the clips are doing and how much they earn alongside purchases. We don't use it to find out who you are.

If you tap "Report an ad" in Settings, your email app opens a message to us with a reference number for the last clip; if you send it, we get your email address, your message and that reference, and we use them only to look into the ad.

5. Your choices about ads and tracking

  • Apple's tracking prompt. SIGNED uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt to ask whether it may track you. If you choose "Allow", Google can use your device's advertising identifier, together with information from other companies' apps and websites, to personalize the ads you see and to measure them. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier isn't shared, and SIGNED asks Google for ads that aren't personalized. You can still watch clips and earn diamonds.
  • Changing your tracking answer. You can change it at any time in your iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security > Tracking. If "Allow Apps to Request to Track" is turned off there, SIGNED can't ask, and your answer counts as "Ask App Not to Track".
  • Google's consent form. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, SIGNED shows Google's consent form before any ads load. It asks whether Google and the ad partners it lists may store and read information on your device and use your information to personalize ads. You can say no. You can still watch clips and earn diamonds, but the ads won't be personalized, and you may see fewer clips.
  • Changing your consent. Your choice is saved on your device and sent with each ad request. To change it, open Settings in SIGNED and tap "Privacy options". The button appears when Google's consent form applies to you.

6. Who we share information with

  • Apple, which processes payments and runs the App Store. Apple handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat, Inc., which handles the purchase and support information described in Section 3 and the clip records described in Section 4 for us as our service provider. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
  • Google, which provides the clips and receives the information described in Section 4. Google uses it under its own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Apple and RevenueCat each get only what they need to provide their service, and each protects your information to the same or an equal standard as this policy. Google decides for itself how it uses the information its ad software collects, as its privacy policy explains. We do not give your personal information to data brokers, and we don't sell it for money. Google's use of it for personalized ads may count as "sharing" or a "sale" under some U.S. state laws (Section 13). We may share information if the law requires it.

7. What SIGNED does not do

  • It never plays an ad unless you tap "Watch a clip", and it has no banner ads or ads that appear on their own. It uses the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking.
  • Apart from RevenueCat's purchase, Signed Pro offer and clip statistics (Sections 3 and 4) and the ad measurement, crash logs and performance data that Google's ad software collects (Section 4), it uses no analytics, crash-reporting or social media tools.
  • It never asks for your location, and it doesn't use GPS or your precise location. Google may estimate your general location from your IP address (Section 4). It doesn't use your contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
  • The game itself works offline. Only the purchase, support and clip features described above use the internet.

If you have chosen in your iPhone settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and overall usage figures for SIGNED. Apple handles that under its own privacy policy.

8. Links that open outside the app

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links in SIGNED open in your web browser. Those websites (apple.com and our own website) have their own privacy policies. The policy for our website is at hustlaarcade.com/privacy.

9. How long we keep information and how to delete it

  • Your career save stays on your device until you delete it. To delete it, open Settings in SIGNED and tap "Delete this career". Deleting the app removes your career save and your settings. A deleted career can't be recovered. Your purchases stay with your Apple Account.
  • Everyone who opens SIGNED gets a RevenueCat record under the app's random ID, even without buying anything. It holds the details listed in Section 3 and the clip records described in Section 4, plus your purchases if you make any.
  • We keep these records for as long as SIGNED offers purchases, so that you can restore what you bought, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. When SIGNED stops offering purchases, we will ask RevenueCat to delete them. Apple keeps its own records of your purchases. We keep support emails only as long as we need them to help you.
  • To have your RevenueCat record deleted, first delete SIGNED from your device. While SIGNED is installed, opening it creates a new record under the same random ID. Then email contact@hustlaarcade.com with the subject "SIGNED privacy request". If you bought something, include the Order ID from Apple's receipt email for a SIGNED purchase so we can find your record. If you contacted us from the Manage Signed Pro screen, that message already includes your RevenueCat ID, so just tell us you want your record deleted. We will ask RevenueCat to delete it and tell you when we have. RevenueCat then completes the deletion within a reasonable time.
  • If you never bought anything and never contacted us, your record has no name, email or order that could connect it to you, so we have no way to find it. Deleting SIGNED removes the random ID from your device, which ends the link between you and that record.
  • Deleting your records does not cancel a subscription. To cancel Signed Pro, use your Apple Account's subscription settings on your device. Your purchases stay with your Apple Account. If you reinstall SIGNED, a new record is created, and "Restore purchases" brings your purchases back.
  • Google keeps the information its ad software collects for as long as Google's privacy policy describes, and that policy explains the choices Google offers. We only see overall ad reports from Google, so we can't look up or delete what Google holds about you. Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" stops the advertising identifier from being shared from then on.
  • To stop SIGNED from sending anything to RevenueCat or Google, delete the app.

10. Children

SIGNED is a general-audience game. It doesn't ask anyone for their age or real name, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, for example in a support email, email contact@hustlaarcade.com and we will delete it.

The optional clips in SIGNED are not directed at children. SIGNED is not in the App Store's Kids category, and its age rating is shown on its App Store page.

11. Do Not Track

SIGNED tracks you only if you allow it in Apple's tracking prompt (Section 5). Web browser Do Not Track signals don't apply to apps, so your iPhone's tracking setting is the way to control this.

12. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

This section applies if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

Hard Hustla Muzik LLC (contact details in Section 15) is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. RevenueCat processes information for us as our processor. Google is a separate controller of the information its ad software collects, because it decides how to use that information for its own purposes.

We rely on these legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the game, deliver and restore your purchases, keep your Signed Pro status correct and give you the diamonds for a clip you finished.
  • Consent: to let Google and its ad partners store and read information on your device, and to use your information for personalized ads. You can withdraw your consent at any time with "Privacy options" in SIGNED's Settings. Withdrawing doesn't affect what happened before.
  • Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud and invalid purchases or ad activity, keep SIGNED secure, answer support messages, and understand overall sales and how the clips perform. You can object to this.
  • Legal obligation: when the law requires us to keep or share information.

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to our use of it based on legitimate interests. To make a request, email contact@hustlaarcade.com with the subject "SIGNED privacy request". Section 9 explains what helps us find your record. For information Google holds, see Google's privacy policy. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, such as the one in the EEA country where you live, the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

We are based in the United States. RevenueCat and Google process information in the United States and other countries. For information that comes from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, they use legal safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, for Google, the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks and the UK Extension.

13. California and other U.S. state privacy rights

California and some other U.S. states give their residents extra privacy rights. This section explains them.

SIGNED collects these categories of personal information: identifiers (the app's random RevenueCat ID, the identifier for vendor, an ID that Google's ad software keeps for SIGNED, a random ID for each clip shown, your IP address and, if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier); commercial information (your SIGNED purchase records); internet or other electronic network activity (how you use the Signed Pro offer screen, how you interact with SIGNED and its clips, and crash and performance data about the app); approximate location worked out from your IP address; and, if you contact us, your email address and message. Sections 3 and 4 explain where each comes from and why, and Section 9 explains how long we keep it. SIGNED doesn't collect sensitive personal information, such as your precise location.

We don't sell personal information for money. If you allow tracking, SIGNED makes your advertising identifier, your IP address, information about the ads you see and tap in SIGNED and information about how SIGNED runs on your device available to Google for ads based on your activity across other companies' apps and websites. California law calls this "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and some state laws may treat it as a "sale" or as "targeted advertising". We share these categories only with Google. We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

To opt out, choose "Ask App Not to Track" when Apple's tracking prompt appears, or turn off tracking for SIGNED at any time in your iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security > Tracking. Whenever you haven't allowed tracking, SIGNED doesn't share the advertising identifier, asks Google only for ads that aren't personalized, and turns on Google's Restricted Data Processing, which limits how Google may use your information. Apple's rules also don't allow SIGNED or the ad software in it to track you.

You may also have the right to know what personal information we have about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. We won't treat you differently for using these rights: you get the same game, and clips still earn diamonds. To make a request, email contact@hustlaarcade.com with the subject "SIGNED privacy request". Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We will need to confirm which RevenueCat record is yours, as Section 9 explains. If we turn down your request, you can reply to ask us to reconsider.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the Effective date at the top. If a change affects what SIGNED collects (for example, if we add a new ad or analytics provider), we will update this page before releasing the app update that makes the change, and we will mention it in that update's release notes.

You can also use hustlaarcade.com/support and choose the game.

16. SIGNED on Android devices (Google Play)

This section applies if you got SIGNED from Google Play on an Android device. Sections 1 to 15 also apply to that version, except where this section says something different. Anything in Sections 1 to 15 about Apple, the App Store, your Apple Account, Apple's tracking prompt, the identifier for vendor, the advertising identifier (IDFA), iCloud or your iPhone's settings applies only to iPhone and iPad.

Purchases and Signed Pro on Android:

  • Google Play processes every payment in SIGNED on Android, including diamond packs and Signed Pro. Google handles your payment information under its own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. We never see your card or your Google Account details. Google Play's sales reports give us each order's number, product, price and date, the device model used, the buyer's country and state or region and, for sales where we are the merchant of record (including in the United States), the buyer's city and postal code.
  • RevenueCat does the same job for us as Section 3 describes, using a random ID that is not your name, email or Google Account. On Android, it receives your Google Play purchase records for SIGNED: which products you bought, the prices, the purchase, renewal and expiry dates, the order numbers and purchase tokens, your Google Play country, and whether it was a test purchase.
  • The basic technical details RevenueCat receives on Android are your device's model and brand, your Android version, the app version and your language settings. On Android, RevenueCat doesn't receive a device identifier or the Android advertising ID. Apple's download record and the tracking-permission status described in Section 3 exist only on iPhone and iPad. Everything else in Section 3 works the same way on Android.
  • When you buy something, RevenueCat gives Google Play a scrambled (hashed) form of the random ID with the purchase. Google Play can use it to detect irregular purchase activity, such as possible fraud.
  • After you buy something, RevenueCat also saves the random ID with Google Play services on your device (Google calls this Block Store), so that your purchases stay linked to the same RevenueCat record. If your phone backs up to your Google Account, the random ID can stay on your phone after you delete SIGNED, and it can be copied to a new phone that you set up from that backup. Only SIGNED can read it back, and we can't see it there.
  • If you use Contact support on the Manage Signed Pro screen on Android, the email that opens has only a subject line and space for your message. It doesn't include your RevenueCat ID or any device details. If a support form appears inside the app instead, it works as Section 3 describes.
  • To manage or cancel Signed Pro on Android, open the Google Play Store app and go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, or visit https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Deleting SIGNED doesn't cancel a subscription. Refunds for purchases made on Android are handled through Google Play, as our Terms of Use explain. Your purchases stay with your Google Account, and Google Play keeps its own records of them.

Ads and your choices on Android:

  • The clips work as Section 4 describes, and Google's ad software collects the same kinds of information. On Android, the device identifiers it may collect are the Android advertising ID, the app set ID (an ID shared by the apps from one developer on your device) and, where applicable, other identifiers related to accounts signed in on your device.
  • On Android, Google Play also has your purchase records, because it processes your payments. SIGNED itself doesn't give your purchase records to Google's ad software.
  • Android has no tracking prompt like Apple's. Instead, SIGNED's Settings has a "Personalized ads" switch, and it is off unless you turn it on. Google uses your advertising ID to personalize the ads in SIGNED only after you turn it on and, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, only if Google's consent form also allows it.
  • While Personalized ads is off, SIGNED asks Google only for ads that aren't personalized and turns on Google's Restricted Data Processing, which limits how Google may use your information. Google says ads that aren't personalized don't use your advertising ID to choose ads for you, but still use it to limit how often you see the same ad and for overall ad reporting.
  • If you turn Personalized ads on, SIGNED asks Google for personalized ads. Google can then use your advertising ID, together with information from other companies' apps and websites, to personalize the ads you see and to measure them.
  • Your choice is saved on your device and stays in place when you close and reopen SIGNED. You can change it at any time, and the change applies from the next clip.
  • In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form and the "Privacy options" button in SIGNED's Settings also work on Android as Section 5 describes. If you don't agree to personalized ads there, SIGNED asks Google only for ads that aren't personalized, even if Personalized ads is on.
  • You can also delete or reset your advertising ID at any time. On most Android devices, open Settings, tap Privacy, then Ads, and tap Delete advertising ID (or Reset advertising ID to get a new one). Menu names can differ on some phones. Google explains these settings at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. After you delete it, apps, including Google's ad software in SIGNED, get a string of zeros instead of your advertising ID, so it can't be used to personalize your ads. Google says you may still see ads based on other information, such as information you've shared with apps.
  • Where Sections 1, 4 and 11 talk about allowing tracking, on Android that means turning on Personalized ads.

California and other U.S. state privacy rights on Android:

  • On Android, the identifiers SIGNED collects (Section 13) are the app's random RevenueCat ID, the Android advertising ID, the app set ID, identifiers related to accounts signed in on your device where applicable, a random ID for each clip shown and your IP address. On Android, commercial information also includes the order details in Google Play's sales reports, and location also includes the city, state and postal code in those reports. The other categories in Section 13 are the same.
  • If you turn on Personalized ads, SIGNED on Android makes your advertising ID (if you haven't deleted it), your IP address, information about the ads you see and tap in SIGNED and information about how SIGNED runs on your device available to Google for ads based on your activity across other companies' apps and websites. As Section 13 explains, this may count as "sharing" or a "sale" under some U.S. state laws. We share these categories only with Google.
  • To opt out on Android, leave Personalized ads off, or turn it off at any time in SIGNED's Settings. Whenever it is off, SIGNED asks Google only for ads that aren't personalized and turns on Google's Restricted Data Processing. Google's ad software still receives the information described in Section 4, including your advertising ID if you haven't deleted it, but Google then uses it only for purposes such as delivering and measuring ads and preventing fraud.
  • Your other rights in Section 13, and how to make a request, are the same on Android.

Your information, backups and deletion on Android:

  • Your career save and your settings stay on your device, as Section 2 says. If your phone backs up to your Google Account, Android can include SIGNED's data in that backup, including your career save, your settings and the random RevenueCat ID, and put it back when you reinstall SIGNED or set up a new phone. Google handles these backups under its own privacy policy, and we can't read them.
  • Because of these backups, deleting a career or deleting SIGNED on Android may not be permanent. If your phone restores SIGNED from an earlier backup, an earlier career save can come back, and SIGNED can use the same random RevenueCat ID again instead of starting a new record. So on Android, deleting the app doesn't reliably end the link between you and your RevenueCat record. If you bought something, asking us to delete the record is the dependable way. If you never bought anything on Android, we still have no way to find your record (Section 9), because the Android support email doesn't include your RevenueCat ID.
  • To ask, follow Section 9: email contact@hustlaarcade.com with the subject "SIGNED privacy request". If you bought something on Android, include the order number from Google Play's receipt email for a SIGNED purchase (it starts with "GPA."), so we can find your record. Include it even if you wrote to us before through Contact support, because on Android that email doesn't include your RevenueCat ID.
  • Deleting your records doesn't cancel a subscription. On Android, cancel Signed Pro in Google Play as described above. If you reinstall SIGNED, "Restore purchases" brings back the Starter Pack, the expansions and Signed Pro (not diamond packs).

Other differences on Android:

  • SIGNED doesn't send notifications on Android, and it doesn't ask for permission to send them.
  • If you have chosen on your Android device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google Play may give us crash reports, "app not responding" reports and overall figures about how SIGNED performs. Google handles that under its own privacy policy.
  • On Google Play, SIGNED's target audience is ages 13 and over, and its content rating is shown on its Google Play page.
  • Information that SIGNED sends to RevenueCat and Google is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), on Android and on iPhone and iPad.
